Fixed issues involving static articulated cars becoming invisible when connecting with them, and steam locomotive trailing single bogie issue. Also cleaned up more of the code.

Fix for the code that recorded the most recent saved version that works (for multi-version save compatibility) - it was not correctly recording recent version numbers.

Also a minor tweak to the compatibility warning - the save version doesn't have to always be older.
